Am I Eligible for a Free NHS Vaccine?

The NHS COVID-19 vaccination is offered seasonally to specific priority groups. Eligibility is determined by the Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation (JCVI) and typically includes.

If you are not eligible for a free NHS dose, Morrill Pharmacy also offers a Private COVID-19 Vaccination Service. Please ask our team for more information on private bookings.

You are generally eligible for a free jab if you:

  • Older adults: Adults aged 75 years and over (turning 75 by the end of the campaign).
  • Care homes: Residents in care homes for older adults.
  • Immunosuppressed: Individuals aged 6 months and over who are immunosuppressed (as defined in the Green Book COVID-19 Chapter).

Programme Schedule

  • Dates: The campaign runs from 1 October 2026 to 31 January 2027.
  • Co-administration: Where possible, the COVID-19 vaccine is offered alongside the seasonal flu vaccine.

How to Book Your NHS Appointment

To receive your free NHS vaccine at Morrill Pharmacy, you must book through the official National Booking System:

  1. Check Your Eligibility: Visit the NHS website or call 119 to confirm you are eligible for the current seasonal campaign.
  1. Select our pharmacy: When booking via the NHS website or the NHS App, search for us by name or postcode to secure your local appointment.
  2. Attend Your Appointment: Please bring your NHS number (if known) to your scheduled time in our private consultation room.
